The BenRiach distillery is located in the Scottish Highlands (Speyside).
Benriak means "gray mountain" (in Gaelic).
Founded in 1898.
It had earned a high reputation as a base spirit for blending, but the official bottling was not released until 1994.
In 2004, it was reborn as an independently owned distillery, and now releases a wide variety of single malt whiskies.

Curiositas is a Latin word meaning "curiosity."
Made with Speyside peat and home-grown malt.
This is a heavily peated single malt whisky that harmonizes a powerful peaty aroma with a fruity sweetness reminiscent of fresh fruit.
It received a Silver Medal at the IWSC (International Wine & Spirit Contest) 2017.
