Chivas Regal is a blended Scotch whisky from the Speyside region of Scotland and is one of the most widely consumed Scotch whiskies in the world.

In the 1850s, the Chivas brothers began producing blended whisky.
In the 1900s, the company began exporting whiskey under the name Chivas Regal to the United States, and it remained a popular, representative whiskey brand in the United States until the 1920s, when Prohibition began.
In 1950, Chivas Regal purchased Strathisla Distillery, the oldest distillery in the Highlands, which would later become its flagship distillery.
It remains a popular global brand to this day.
